Ice dams Feb 2012

Ice was a big problem in 2011-12. A big storm in early February dumped 4 feet of snow and following a quick warm-up and thaw, the gutters were thick with ice. The front of the house had the biggest problem with ice and after repairing the heat tape and a spate of good weather, the ice melted. Next winter I’ll be better prepared.
