Few things can compare with the frustration, challenge and reward of buying a home whose main description in the inspection report is “defective.”

I seem to have been born with more courage than sense, but I’m putting my time, faith and some hard-won cash into a little mountain property. Along with a diatribe on this journey, expects construction updates, costs, rants and the occasional snide comment.
