Product review
Lately I’ve made some pretty poor purchases. Very bad flooring from the worst company I’ve ever done business with – Professional (not so much) Flooring Supply and buying piece of junk lights for the front and back doors. The idea was to have motion sensors for when I arrive home. Voila! Presto! The lights come on but no, I have lights with bad sensors and I should have asked around a little more before buying the “Heath Zenith Bayside Mission 150-Degree Outdoor Bronze Motion-Sensing Lantern.”
I’m stuck with the flooring but I can still review other purchases on Home Depot’s website. Wish I would have taken the reviews on the lights to heart.
Here’s my take. Will they post it? Probably not, but here’s my “review.”
“You need a degree in electrical engineering to get the lights to work the way you want them. There’s no way to just have the lights turn on when you want and turn off when you flip the switch. These lights are beautiful but the sensors are absolute crap. The “sensor” will shut the light off even when you’re standing within range. Bam! You’re in the dark! Obviously, you think to yourself, “I must have set the lights up wrong” so you try again and again and you study the manual like a student two days before finals. Mastering biochemistry in Greek is child’s play compared to trying to make these lights work the way you want them. These are by far the worst lights I have ever purchased and deserve an “F” for thinking this was the right choice. You’d have better luck teaching your dog to turn the lights on when you pull up to your home. Continue to seek, brave soul, for these lights will not illuminate your way.”
