Oh, dear

One of the perks of living at the Bar B is the wildlife that comes through nearly every day. Elk, bear, mountain lion, skunks, racoons, squirrels, voles, woodpeckers, nuthatches, hummingbirds and of course deer all visit.

More deer come through here since mitigation was done down in the Slightly Unenchanted Forest. This guy made himself comfortable behind the woodshed and stayed for quite a while.

I’ve been surprised many times by visitors but this guy was unperturbed about my coming within 10 feet of him. After all, you can’t leave a sleeve of Diet Pepsi in the Subaru on an 87-degree day.
