Something’s been here

It’s hard to see from the picture but there’s a large spot about four feet across right on the southwest corner of the property. Every few days the area has been disturbed again but I’m not sure what it is that’s taking a rest at the Bar B.

It could be a deer, elk or even a bear but I’ve never heard of a bear taking a nap out in the open. A deer or elk is more likely but why in such a visually limited place? An animal won’t be able to see around the fence or the neighbor’s shed. A nasty surprise could be in store!

I may have to change the name around here to something a little more welcoming to my furry friends – perhaps The Beast Inn and the Bar B Ranch.
